Horizon Lines
By Morgan McSheffrey
My
high horizon picture is very high up in the sky. It is above a large mountain,
or hill, and gives a distinctive outline of a horizon. The trees in the foreground
brighten up the picture, and give more “body” to the photo. The
tall “lonely” tree in front of the horizon really stands out as
the center of focus. As well, the houses hidden behind the trees give a mysterious
feel to the photo.
The
middle horizon in this photo is very distinct when you look at the photo. The
tall grass rises up to the middle view of the sky, and leaves extra room to
view the cloudy sky better. There are some houses behind the field, which gives
a “homey” feeling to the photo.
In this image, the horizon is much lower to the ground, and there
is a lot of sky. I really like the way the clouds are formed and how some of
them blend with the sky. This image looks a bit sad, as if it was going to rain.
