What to Do?

The fun part. You get to go to one of your favorite places. You get to learn a little about photography and Global Positioning System and you get to participate in a World Wide activity that connects people and challenges the imagination. Lucky you. This is the Plan...

First

• You will receive your package from the planter on the list before you.
• Open it up and check the list to see if all is there.

Part 1 (GPS)

• Build and load your own pinhole camera using the tools provided and a pop or beer can of your choice.
• Take both the pinhole camera for hiding that was supplied in the package and the camera you built and loaded, and the GPS receiver to an OUTDOOR location that complies with the rules of geocaching.
• Hide the first pinhole camera and with the second, following the instructions provided, take a picture from the hiding spot.
• Record the reading of the GPS coordinates on the recording sheet. Refer to instructions.
• Go Home and unload the film (Total Darkness for this) into the film box labeled exposed film. (If you wish to get the film developed at a local photo store to see how the shot turned out that is fine. Scan the image and put the developed negative into and envelope in the package)
• Reload film into the Camera and label the outside with the camera instructions provided. This will be the camera for the next planter on the list.
• If you developed and scanned the film send me an email with the scanned photo
• Finally, send me the GPS coordinates and I will post them to this site and on the goecaching site

Part 2 (Flying Camera)

• The easy part. With the Flying Pinhole Camera take any photo you wish. Carefully follow the instructions on how to use the flying pinhole camera.
• Your photo will be blended with the planter before and the planter after you and the entire circle will be complete when I receive the camera and take the last shot.

Finally

• Package everything up including the camera you made. It will be the planted camera for the next person.
• Send it to the next on the list using the appropriate carrier service.
